What happened?!?!?!

When this app stops kicking me to the App Store when I havent clicked anything, Ill give it 5 stars again. I understand the need for ads, but this is incredibly annoying!!!!!!

More ads, less content

These guys are getting too greedy with the advertising. Each article kicks you to the App Store and when you try to go back, you get a blank page. I have to force close the app, reopen, go back to the article and get shoved back to the App Store again. Rinse, wash and repeat. No more patronage from me. Plus, their political biases are nauseating. Stick to covering technology.

Deleted

Used to be my favorite go-to app. I understand the need for ads if the app is free. But the number and placement of the ads make it virtually impossible to scroll without bring re-directed to some crap game in the App Store. Not worth the aggravation and time.

Keeps Switching to The App Store

Dont bother using this app. Everytime you open an article it switches you to the App Store to promote some wothless freemium game. Then when you return to your article it is blank, so you have to select it again from the article list which then causes a switch to the App Store again for either the same game or a different one. This happens ad infinium.

Aggravating.

Keep getting kicked to the AppStore, in the middle of reading a article. Why O why MDN...why o why?

To many advertisements interrupting

This app used to be stable and quick. Now it has to much advertising causing it to load improperly. The stories are broken up by ads within them. Then when you try to make a comment on the story the ads interrupt your typing even 10 seconds. Which then leads you to clicking on a link which takes you out of the comments section and lose everything you typed before. FRUSTRATING! I deleted it because it is just not working anymore.

Great Site, Horrible App

Great site but I no longer use it every day. Besides aggressive banner ads, the app tends to launch the App Store to link to advertised apps. Having to shut down the App Store every time I select an article got tiresome. Apple insider or iMore are much better apps.

Too many ads, auto redirecting to app store

I like the content in the app, but recently, the app keeps automatically redirecting to the app store as if I clicked on an ad, even though I didnt click on any of the ads. Needs to get fixed.

Opening Ads?

This app automatically opens ads when you try to read an article!!! Are you kidding me??? This app is total junk!!! Look elsewhere for apple news!!! Its not just bad, its super bad!

Ads make App Unreasonable

This used to be a decent app for Apple News, now it has lost anything it had going for it. Originally it was a much nicer way to navigate articles than via the web, now it loads ads immediately whenever a user clicks to read an article. MDN has become far more about making money via ads than providing great content. In the short term I may still get some Apple news at MDN via the web. But for the much longer term, Im switching back to MacRumors.

Repeating notifications Ads galore

The app constantly repeats notifications. This is a well-known developer bug and there are loads of articles on how to fix the issue. Considering this app has been out since last December, its rather disappointing that MDN hasnt resolved it. Considering the insane number of Ads that the App serves, there should be plenty of Ad revenue to cover the time to fix the notifications bug. Im once again uninstalling from my iOS devices and Perhaps try again in a couple of years. What a shame. Back to MacHash.

MDN loves ads

Content is pretty good when you can get to it. I cant EVER comment on articles with this app. Doesnt work. And lately, it randomly sends me to App Store apps while Im trying to read. Very aggravating. But lately, when I try to return from the App Store, I get a blank screen, and have to dump the whole MDN app to recover. Sometimes more that once. In conclusion, for an app whos job is to allow me to read and comment, its a failure.
